Introduction
Dr Seuss is one of the most iconic children’s book authors in the world. His books are classics that have found a permanent home on bookshelves in homes, schools, and libraries. It’s hard to find a child or adult who is not familiar with this man and his works. He is a beloved author with Dr Seuss Day celebrated annually on his birthday, March 2nd. Despite this some of his works have raised concerns over their appropriateness and their content challenged.
